Local island

The real MaldivesFehendhoo

This trip is not about rushing or ticking boxes. The emphasis here is on slowing down and really experiencing the Maldives — life on a small local island, days in the water with turtles and sharks, trips out to empty sandbanks, and evenings that end around a fire with the fish we caught ourselves that afternoon.

Day by day

The real Maldives

  1. Arrival

    Malé → Fehendhoo

You’ll land at Velana International Airport and we’ll make our way to Fehendhoo, arriving in the afternoon. After settling into the guesthouse, we’ll grab a bike and explore the island together before our first dinner — with a sunset, of course.

  2. Day 2

    Ocean magic

We’ll start with a snorkel at Rose Coral Garden, swimming over the reef with batfish and plenty of other marine life. After lunch, we’re off to a beautiful sandbank for some beach time. Later, grab a paddleboard or kayak and join us for sunset on the water.

  3. Day 3

Turtles & a little island escape

Turtle time! We’ll head out for a morning snorkel before taking the boat to a remote island for a beach picnic. In the evening, we’ll go sunset fishing and then fire up the BBQ with whatever we manage to catch.

  4. Day 4

    Dive day

Ready to go a little deeper? Today we’re swapping snorkels for tanks and heading underwater for a day of diving. We’ll take it easy in the evening with a movie and some well-deserved downtime.

  5. Day 5

    Sharks & mantas

Today’s mission: sharks and mantas. We’ll head out to snorkel with reef sharks and, if the ocean is feeling generous, hopefully meet some manta rays too. Back on the island, it’s game-night time.

  6. Day 6

Island hopping — or a slow beach day

For our last full day, you choose.

If you’re up for more exploring, we’ll take the boat to Goidhoo to discover another local island and see a different side of everyday life in the Maldives.

Or, if you’ve had enough adventures by now, stay on Fehendhoo, slow down and enjoy a proper beach day. No plans, no rushing — just the ocean.

In the evening, we’ll all come together for a farewell buffet, followed by karaoke.

  7. Day 7

One last breakfast, one last swim if you can squeeze it in, and a little free time before we say goodbye to Fehendhoo and head back to Malé.

Back to Yourself

Seven days on Fehendhoo to reconnect with yourself. With your body. With your thoughts. With what really matters to you. Through movement, the ocean, adventure, conversation and time for yourself, we make space to slow down, to hear yourself again and to discover how much you are capable of — perhaps more than you think right now. Some of it you may never have known you could do. And some of it you simply forgot along the way. This is a week for coming back to yourself.
