Your host on Fehendhoo
If you are wondering who will meet you on this small island in the middle of the Maldives — I am Ena. I moved here a few years ago, and it was life on this island that reminded me how easily we lose touch with ourselves along the way. In the pace of everyday life, in the obligations, the work and everything we think we have to do, we often forget to stop and ask what we actually want, what we need, and what makes us happy.
Here I learned to slow down again. To take a moment. To stop always chasing the next thing and notice the one that is happening right now. And somehow it was here that I found the parts of myself I had lost on the way.
So this retreat is not just an escape from everyday life for me. It is a chance to set aside everything that usually occupies us and give ourselves room to get to know ourselves again — what matters to us today, what we want, what makes us happy, and what may no longer be ours. We are not looking for a new, “better” version of ourselves. We are just giving ourselves the chance to rediscover the one who was there all along.
